The translation of Vergil’s ten Eclogae into Greek is by Daniel Halsworth or Holdsworth, a classical scholar. Born in Yorkshire about 1558, died in Rome in 1595; produced translations from Greek into Latin and vice versa, many of it unpublished.
Not in Hoffmann. USTC 857029 and Edit16 47849 show the same four copies in Italian libraries. Two more copies exist: one in Manchester Univ. Libr., one in Berlin Staatsbibl. Extremely rare.
