Contemporary limp vellum, remnant of ties.

A little spot in the very upper margin of c. 30 leaves in volume 2; spine of volume 1 with a little tear. Provenance: A small piece of paper of the fly-leaf of volume one cut off, below „Sine numina frustra“; exlibris on paste-downs; marginal notes on pp. 102 and 103 of volume 3 in a contemporary Italian hand. A remarkable crisp and clean copy with ample margins.
