2.400 €Novum Testamentum Graece, cum vulgata interpretatione Latina Graeci contextus lineis inserta … — Antverpiae, Ex officina Christophori Plantini. M. D. LXXIII.

First separate edition with the Latin text above the Greek lines.
8vo (188 x 118 mm). 371, (5) leaves. 2 marginal wormholes in the first 6 leaves, leaves 7 to 25 with one wormhole. Faint marginal waterstaining to first leaves. Ample margins.
Contemporary blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards, two clasps. On both covers three different roll-tooles forming three rectangles. The outer roll-tool with Salvator/David/Iesaia/Paulus, the middle one with heads and below the heads GOT/ALL/EIN/DIE/[EHRE], the inner one with floral ornaments. I did not find these roll-stamps in the Einbanddatenbank.
The text follows volume 7, part 2 of the Polyglot, 1572. Voet, The Plantin Press (1555–1589) … no. 648, Variant A with approbationes; Adams B-1709; ustc 402814; Darlowe & Moule 4643a.
A very good, genuine copy.
