Provenance: Sum Pauli Pfintzingi [Paul Pfintzing] and in his hand: Emptus Biturigibus [Bourges] 1542 mense Aprilj. Below a note of Paul’s brother Johann Pfintzing, who donated the book to Sigismund Reinhard from Nurnberg: Sum Joannis Pfintzingi fratris anno 1561. Dono dedi Sigismundo Reinhardo Noribergensi […] suo observando. A few notes in Paul’s hand on leaves 4 to 6.
A second and shorter grammar by Girard was published as Hebdomades Graecae by Wechel, Paris 1547; Aristophanes‘ Ploutos with his translation and commentary followed in 1549. Girard lectured in Bourges.
